The Vier Jahreszeiten is a small hotel set in the centre of Salzburg, 100 metres from Castle Mirabell and 800 metres from Mozart's birthplace. The hotel's 30 guestrooms have light and airy interiors with white linens, framed prints and pale fabrics. All include cable television, direct-dial phones, radios, hair dryers and minibars.
The hotel has a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff can assist guests in planning outings and tours. Complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby, and guests can make use of the hotel's high- speed Internet point. Restaurant Vier Jahreszeiten is adorned with oil paintings, chandeliers, upholstered seating and wood-panelled wallsand specialises in Italian dishes. Free, secure parking is available in the parking garage; the hotel also offers a ski shuttle, business services and the use of a nearby fitness centre. The hotel's central location means that guests can easily explore this historic city on foot. The Salzburg Congress Centre is 100 metres from the hotel, and the nearest railway station is one kilometre away. Salzburg Airport is eight kilometres from the hotel. The airport is a 15 or 20 train journey from Salzburg Hauptbahnhof main railway station. The number 77 bus also runs at regular intervals between the airport and the main railway station. Taxis are available right outside the airport terminal and charge around $15 to the city centre. The best way to get around and see Salzburg is on foot. However, there is also an inexpensive bus and tram system, as well as a network of bike paths. Cars are banned from parts of the old town.

| From Munich, take the A1 towards Vienna and exit at Salzburg Mitte. Go straight ahead towards Zentrum and follow the main road Ignaz- Harrer-Straße. Go across the river to St. Julien Straße, under the railway bridge and into Gabelsbergerstraße. At the second traffic lights, turn right into Paracelsusstraße. The hotel is 150 metres away from here.
