Hotel Description

Location. The modern Sheraton Salzburg Hotel is located next to the Mirabell Palace and Garden in Salzburg, Austria. The hotel is within one kilometre of Mozart's Birthplace, Residenz - the medieval bishops' residence - and Hohensalzburg Fortress in Salzburg's Old Town. Salzburg Airport (SZG) is three kilometres away.
Hotel Features. Dotted with flower arrangements, the Sheraton Salzburg Hotel's lobby is decorated with contemporary chandeliers, warm red tones and striped armchairs.

Restaurant Mirabell fuses Austrian and international flavours, and opens onto a terrace for alfresco dining beneath a canopy of trees. Restaurant Bistro serves lunch and snacks. Affording views of Mirabell Garden, the Piano Bar has a bar menu with snacks, cakes and pastries.

Directly linked to the Salzburg Conference Centre, the Sheraton Salzburg Hotel offers a business centre with complimentary wireless Internet, and meeting rooms for small groups.

Getting there. The number 2 bus runs between the airport and Salzburg's main train station (Hauptbahnhof) every 10 minutes. Single tickets cost 1.80 EUR. There are buses to Bavaria and Tyrol. Taxis to the city centre cost about 15 EUR. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. The Sheraton Salzburg Hotel is 800 metres from the Old Town. Salzburg's city centre is best explored on foot. The city is served by an inexpensive tram and bus system, and there are numerous cycle paths. Driving is not advised for visitors, and cars are not allowed in some areas of the Old Town. Onsite parking is available (surcharge). Driving directions. Turn right into Innsbrucker Bundestrasse from Salzburg Airport, and head towards the city centre/Zentrum. At the first junction turn right into Maxglaner Hauptsrasse, which turns into Neutorstrasse. Turn left after the Neutor tunnel and proceed until the Staatsbruecke bridge on the left. Proceed over the bridge, then turn left. Take the third road on the right, Auerspergstrasse, where the Sheraton Salzburg Hotel is situated.
